My 1 and a half year old Australorp is suddenly limping. I caught her another hen fighting and fter separating them, she stood still for a min and then she started limping. She has a cut on her right wattle and is currently standing on my laps and favoring her left leg over the right.
She is also keeping her right claw closed.

Inspect her foot to see if it's got any cuts.

She may be a bit sore for a few days if she's been fighting, she'll likely limit activity on her own.
I've had hens fight before and I usually just monitor any injuries for a few days - most issue like limping will resolve over the course of a week.
Sort like if you sprain your ankle, it takes a little time to feel better.

She doesn't have any cuts on her foot.

I have isolated her and she is currently sleeping as it is night time here. How can I check is she hasn't dislocated her leg? Should I try to exercise her leg?

Thank you for replying.

You have also had hens that limp after a fight? Do you give them any pain killers?
Yes, I've had hens limp after a fight.

NO! I do not give pain killers, why mask it. Pain limits activity.

Sure thing!
I hadn't given her any meds yet! I will put her back with the flock.

Also, what can I do about them fighting? Only 2 of my hens hate each other and they fight a lot when I am handling out the treats. So much so, my hand gets caught in the fire and I have a peck or two from them. They even bleed themselves a bit from the wattles and the comb. I always have to pick one up and separate them entirely.
