Hello. I have a 2 week old chick that's suddenly developed spraddle leg. Yesterday she was hopping around on one leg and I thought she slept poorly on it. I gave her some diluted nutri drench and isolated her from her mom and siblings. Now today it's both legs and she seems lethargic. She's eating her feed and drinking water as normal. Her appetite is fine. Her poo looks normal too. Solid brown and white. Not runny or weirdly coloured. But otherwise she's laying down unless her mom does the food call then she perks up. She's chirping along with her siblings as well. I'm going to get medical or electric tape in a few so I can try to hobble the legs. But before the spraddle leg she had a habit of being a loner unless her mom called and when she was active she would run in circles. Just round and round. My question is could the running in circles and spraddle leg be symptoms of a larger neurological problem? She was the last to hatch and she seemed healthy until now. She doesn't seem to be in pain either.

Ok this is her when I put a little feed into her box. She's eating quite robustly. She just can't stand :( IMG_20250927_143613.jpg IMG_20250927_143613.jpg IMG_20250927_143633.jpg

What's their diet? Not Spraddle Leg. Spraddle legs effect newly hatched chicks.
They eat a regular chick starter with corn. I ordered a medicated one through amazon but that won't be here until next week. Other than that they peck around with their mother and eat scraps like bread and they've started to catch bugs. All of her siblings are healthy and active.

How often are you giving the treats? Corn, & bread.

Can you share the brand of feed?

Only occasionally. Like twice a week. The Feed is a generic one not a brand. I get the brands from Amazon when I can. The one I ordered is the Manna Pro Medicated one.
But what's the name? I like looking up the nutrition facts, & ingredients to determine if its a good feed, or not.

Cut out the snacks for awhile, it's more then likely due to a deficiency, so it'll need vitamin therapy. Do you have any Rooster Booster Poultry Cell?

Manna Pro is a good feed, though.

I don't have the name. Our feed store supplies them in plain bags after they're imported. I can ask tomorrow.

Right now I only have Nutri drench and I've given her some already. She seems to be a bit better today. She's trying to walk and is eating a lot. Should I order the rooster booster? What other vitamins should I give her?

Could offer the chick some scrambled eggs, or raw yolk as it has riboflavin, & other vitamins that may have until you can get the rooster booster. You can continue with the Nutridrench as well while waiting.
