One of my ameraucana cockerels that is almost 3 months old suddenly got wry neck, he was totally normal 2 days ago, and yesterday he suddenly got it and I'm not sure why. It looks pretty bad, he's dragging his head on the ground and isn't eating or drinking. I even tried dipping his beak in the water but he won't even try. I put electrolytes in the water but that won't do much if he isn't drinking

Hi. What happened with your rooster? We have a rooster almost 7 months old, who started the day normally today, are played and danced his way into the yard. But when we went to take him to bed, my partner found him under the rose bush instead of on the bbq where he normally waits, with what looks like severe wry neck. Can it happen that quickly? He's not had it before and nothing has really changed in his life.

A good vitamin e source is to use asparagus. You may even need to dropper feed and water.
There are two types of uses of vitamins. One is as a nutritional supplement, and the other is as therapy for a disorder. The latter, as discussed in this thread, requires a much stronger more concentrated dose. Getting a therapeutic dose from eating a food is not possible.

Well thanks for the replies everyone but unfortunately he died the day after I posted this. It all happened so fast
