I was at the Blue Seal Feed store yesterday and they gave me a free High Energy Suet cake when I purchased by chicken feed. The ingredients are: Rendered Beef Suet, Sunflower Seeds, Millet and Corn. Is this ok to hang in the chicken's run for them to peck at? It said food for wild birds (woodpeckers, finches, cardinals, mockingbirds, nuthatches, titmice, jays, warblers, chickadees and more). Is it safe to give chickens.

It's OK in moderation. I wouldn't let them have it every day. Save it for a serious cold snap.
