Suggest a camera?

What do ya'll think of a Nikon Coolpix L100? It's in the price range, has a nice look and sounds good, I don't really know though. I don't want a used one, this is the first time I'll be getting a good camera and from my craigslist experiences, I've learned to just say no, save the money, and get it new.

Yes, CL would not be my first choice, hence if you had the stomach for it and your threshold of pain tolerance. But you can pickup some gems there too, just have to wade through the mounds of garbage.

You can look on DPReview. they have a slew of data for you to digest. They also have a bunch of helpful people on the forums.
