Suggestion for Unanswered Posts

When I have time, I try to visit the Unanswered Posts to see if there is anyone that needs help but had their thread go unanswered. Today I waded through the first several pages and it was all BST threads.

I would suggest that BST threads NOT go to unanswered posts - maybe they could just stay in BST and then be purged after a couple of weeks because, in most cases, the hatching eggs or chicks are no longer available or viable anyway.

That way, unanswered posts could contain "mostly" threads that are seeking help one way or another.

Just my humble suggestion. This is a great site and becoming more so each day.

I made a similar suggestion to Nifty about BST posts... They do tend to gum up the works if BST is not what you are interested in.

I've never even seen that unanswered posts link

I had been a member for a long time before I ever noticed it.

I try and visit it when I can because the first time I did it had a lot of first time posters, posting questions, and no one had answered. I know how I felt when I was new and posted something that got little or no response. It can be a real downer and can be taken so personally. I encourage everyone to visit that thread when they can and give an answer or two.

I saw those unaswered post. I read them first because the people that are here longer will get their answer from someone they know here.
Some times I don't answer post that have a lot of attention already because I think it is important to try to answer the new post as well.
Every one that is posting on this website put some time in posting it so they deserve an answer too.
Thanks for posting. I love to read the post and answer them as well.
Thanks
