Suggestions for modifications to LG incubator for better hatch?

The Computer Fan that I installed in my LG Incubator blows downward....BUT, I also installed a "baffle" made from a Coffee Can lid....which re-directs the air-flow horizontally. I see no reason why blowing upward would'nt be just as good.....as long as there is some space left at the top for the air to go. (Offsetting the fan with spacers)

Here's a picture of how I did mine. (Sorry...not a very good picture - cheap camera. But should show well-enough to get the idea of the spacers and the baffle.)

I thought I read on here somewhere where a guy also added a few extra holes to improve ventillation.... Anyone ever tried that?

On my LG, I took a milk jug top (the screw-on kind that is hard plastic and has ridges for gripping - not the push on kind) and drilled a hole thru it then screwed it down onto the factory adjustment shaft. You will probably need to dab a bit of glue on the top around the screw head to make sure the top doesn't just rotate when you move it, it actually turns the screw too so the shaft moves. I'd recommend using a white milk jug lid then take a black sharpee and draw one thin line on the factory shaft and one on the milk jug. You can use the line on the shaft to see exactly how far you turned it for more coarse adjustments, and use the line on the milk jug to really get the fine tune.
