Suggestions for protecting wooden coop?

Good evening!

I am deep cleaning my coop tomorrow since it'll be the first cool(er) day in a while. Was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for stain/varnish/seal for protect our wooden coop from the elements? The coop is a little over 2 years old if that means anything!

Once it's all nice and pretty I'll be sure to finally upload some photos :p
 
I think house paint for interior is just fine. I only asked, because if you were going to do only interior, and had some interior paint laying around,,,,,, it would be fine to use.
The interior will get dirty in time regardless if painted or not. If painted,, it is easier to scrub clean. :thumbsup
