Suggestions for puppy who climbs fences

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I will try to convince hubby to put some electric wire around either the top or top and middle. Loriemn - can't put a top on - it's my whole backyard.
I would stake but I think he would flip if he was chained/cabled and no one else was. I do have a 20ft lead that I work on "Come" with. He is being stubborn about things lately.

He learned sit around 5 weeks old for treats and just this week he either won't sit or he only partially sits. He also doesn't get a treat

That is why we are going back to classes starting next week

He took puppy kindergarten and did well but had to be 6 months to start the next class. He just turned 6 months on the 17th.

Funny thing is his brother has such a different personality. He is pretty well behaved and submissive. But not to the point where he would cower or anything. But DON"T mess with his food (he isn't food aggressive, just loves his food in an obsessive way)

I should say that Tucker is pretty well behaved for the most part too - he is just a thinker and doer. He also worries when routines change.

I had the couch pulled out yesterday and my husband was playing chase around it with them. Sparky just merrily followed him around the couch, Tucker took about a milisecond to decide that leaping over the couch was the way to catch him and a much shorter distance.

I want to train for agility eventually - just to give him something to focus on. He isn't very big and is all legs. 15 inches at the shoulder and about 16-17 lbs.

Right now I am working on the basement (unfinished) to make a "training" area since temps are really cold here. Supposed to be -6 actual temp in the morning

I had a lab like that once, and finally had to put up a strand of electric fence wire around the top. He quit climbing!
