Hi all, I am new to posting on here. In March I purchased four, 4 day old Amber Link “hens” from tractor supply. I am A vegetarian and wanted hens for my own eggs, but I ended up with two hens and two roosters. This is my first experience raising chickens and I am starting to get overwhelmed. Two weeks ago my roasters loved each other and cuddled up together in the sun. This week my one rooster is attacking the other one as I’ve been told repeatedly would happen and The one rooster (that i seam To favor) runs to me almost like he is asking for help. I dont know What to do. I have One coop/run we just finished building and a make shift run we built with my trampoline until the other was complete. As of now i have them separated. The aggressive roo is back in my basement at the moment, the trampoline is not water proof and it never seams to stop raining here. Any one have suggestions on how to make this situation work without something getting seriously hurt or worse? I would Appreciate any ideas. Thank you Jaime Bates.
