sulfur in water for sick chick???

Has anyone heard or ever put sulfur in water for a sick chicken? I obtained a Cuckoo maran chick this week that is quite sick and the person I got it from said she had been putting sulfur in the water and had been told to do that to help it. I've never heard of this before....

I've also never heard of this before.if she is ill it's best to find a appropriate medication to treat her symptoms with. That's my opinion.

that it what I was doing. I have her on some duramyacin and VetRX with some ACV and Garlic mash. You can just hear the stuff rattling in her as she breaths and lots of sneezing. She's walking around fine like nothings wrong but sounds terrible.

I had just never heard of putting sulfur in their water before and that kinda threw me

I've read about using copper sulfate.
