I know you can't put ACV in galvanized waterers, but can you put Sulmet in them?

I use sulmet when the birds are down after a few straight days
of rain, and if the birds ever have loose watery droppings. I do
have a galvinized waterer and I havent had any problems.
I didnt know that you can put ACV in a galvy waterer though..
Why cant you? Is there a reaction from the galvy?

I read on a post here that the acidity reacts with the metal and eventually it will rust and some other thing I can't remember. You can do a search for ACV and galvanized waterers and you should get some good info. I think most people use plastic when they medicate but I wasn't sure about Sulmet.
