Sulmtalers Thread

I was going to add Sulmtalers to my breeds of chickens, but the auction on RBA got way too high for me to even consider. So I guess that means that interest in Sulmtalers is high. Maybe in the Spring the price will come down a little and I can join the club. Until I get to own some, please keep the pictures coming.

In the spring everyone is hatching-- more eggs possibly available but more people want them.Save up.

I know the price will go down just like the SFH and Bresse did. In my area, both the SFH and the Bresse are down to $10 a chick. I have a Styrian chick that is about a week old. It would have been nice to see the differences between the two breeds since they apparently have a common ancestor.

I'm pretty certain there aren't any bantam Sulmtalers that have been brought into this country. Based on that negative thought, is anyone working on them?
