And like I said, these are barely 6 mo, so we could see some real changes , especially in the males.
Currently, it is winter approaching, so things may stay """Calm""" between the males.
So far, the golden is far more gentle & better with the pullets, But everyone loves the silver for his coloring.
And while they have worked together for so long, things may drastically change soon, at least by spring...I expecy more agression, and am currently looking for another coop for each male.
The White male, was exquisite, also, and should I hatch any more, I will keep one, if for nothing else, for curiosity.....a white Sulmtaler !

If the Sulmtalers are related to Alsteirers that could explain the all-white birds you have since Styrian/Alsteirers can be white too. Very nice bonus!

So far as I can read, so far...yes, they have ties to those birds, AND Spitzhaubens, as far as I have read on 1 web site...don't quote me now...but I do see resemblances in the females, mostly.
The Sulmtaler are much heavier than Appenzeller Spitz, but have that same 'look'

Really? I know they are rare, but I'm surely not the only one with Sulmtalers.

I have some about 2 months old. are the males dark colored?? I only have one wheaton colored one the oter 3 have balck and white feathers.

I have some - I have 9 hens and 3 roosters - so I'm hoping to have plenty of chicks and eggs to sell in the spring.

Does anyone have pics of a rooster as a 1 or 2 month old?? I'm new to this breed. How fast do they mature?

so I most likely have 3 cockrels and 1 pullet and 14 hatching eggs on the way. Hoping for some more pullets.

I just posted a short video of my Sulmtaler rooster playing with my dog, a Boerboel. I can't figure out which of them gets the better of the other .
