Hi!

I'm a soon-to-be highschool freshman living in eastern Washington, and I breed standard white sultans, starting now. I show poultry in 4-H, and besides four sultans (two cocks, one hen, and a chick, currently) have a variety of other chickens including an out-of-control ultra broody mutt-colored ultra-broody ultra skittish old english population, a duck, a rabbit, a turtle, a dog, and two horses, my true passion. Sorry- chickens are nice, but have you ever tried to ride one?

Anyways- I joined because I desperately need some fresh blood to diversify my gene pool. My original stock I got in a mass-order from McMurrays- though most of their birds are the right color, I feel that their quality may be lacking. One of my cocks, for example, has an extra toenail on his extra toe.

Can't wait to meet you all!

Awesome birds and one of my favorite breeds. Next time, if you ever order from a hatchery, try Meyer's. I found their quality of Sultans to be MUCH better than McMurray's. The crests were much more full. But there a few Sultan breeders on BYC. Chickenzoo on here breeds Sultans and sells eggs. Post pictures of your breeders when you can!

You'll meet many other chicken lovers here!
