If they have any ventilation in their coop, it’s going to get in there anyways. My girls never seem to have trouble with the smoke, and it’s been so bad that you can’t see a quarter mile. They just go about their business as usual

Whole cloves work well for pain. Or you can do a clove tea and soak a paper towel in it and put that on the tooth
