Hey all, just got this Sumatra. Are they aggresive at all with other chickens? Thanks

No Peep, no more than any other rooster at least. Hens are fine with any breed. Roosters are roosters , some fight some don't. I keep multiple males in all my pens, though a game type breed originally, they aren't tempered like we think when one thinks of traditional game fowl

Thanks. What about space? We have about 160 sq feet and 4 other chickens

They do often go broody, but mostly later in the season in my experience.

I should add that I have had Sumatra hens that were exemplary mothers, and I have even added week-old chicks to their newly hatched brood and they have adopted them without a fuss.

I am going to the Safford show in three days! Today I was busily giving My sumatra's a bath perparing them for the show. This photo is one of my blue pullets I bred out this year and she was just given a bath as well. She just turned six mouths old today! Once she fills out she will be a really nice hen. I was planning on breeding her to one of my dark blue males just to bring out the lacing in her chicks. Do you guys think that will help? Thanks for your input.
