Lol funny stuff my dogs not doing to well either he went to go number 2 and slipped and about did a split almost fell over in the middle of trying haha

Well, got the kids back and they brought some chocolate cake and deviled eggs with them. Who knows what they actually ate while there. lol

roads are still a mess here and no sight of a plow anywhere
.....but that is normal for us. All the animals are doing fine but
I am wishing I had tried to convince one of my grandbabies to
stay over with us to help out some. We got sleet/rain on top of
the snow too and I ended up on my butt this morning getting the
chores done.........nothing got hurt bad but it is hard for me to
stand back up as I have very limited flex in a knee.

On the bright side I did get some brownies baked yesterday and
I'm thinking real hard on cookies or upside down cake for the DH.

Sorry about the fall Coopscoop, hope all goes well.

It's just the layer of ice over the snow made it very slippery out
there and I was tossing hay out for the horses when my feet
went out from under me......a little sore but more frustrated at
the gyrations I have to go through to get back up and with it
being slippery to begin with it was hard to get up.

Sorry you fell, I really hate walking on the ice. When its icy here I have to throw ashes from the stove out, makes good footing but the the floors are a mess.

When we lived in the UP of Michigan we did the same thing
with the ashes but we don't use a wood stove here because
it usually does not get that cold for long.....just a few days at a time.
