I agree, when it comes to long tail breeds for God's sake stay away from all the hatcheries, they are just horrible from the ones I have seen in the past

I'm going to start hatching every egg I get from my three nicest hens this spring to try to get some more blues, I'm sure I'll have a million extras... you're in my state, atleast...

My best ones I got as eggs from Peachick on here, though.

I'll post pictures of the beauties when my computer isn't being evil!

I Will have some eggs for sale in a few weeks I will hopefully have everything I need hatched out very soon. I am knew to this and am unsure of how to put up pics? All of my birds are show quality, My lines all came from top breeders, Doug Akers, Tom Kernan, and Richard Schock.

Oho, are you lucky! I have been trying to track down those Schock Sumatras for two years now and have found nothing. I'm definitely up for eggs some time in early summer...

My current best ones come from Kernan, too, but they're a little thick for my liking. Hahaha.

Richard and I are good friends lol he unfortunately very very very rarely gets rid of any here and the last few years. I have been very impressed with the ones I have gotten from Doug Aker this year, the only problem is the feet pads do not have quite enough yellow for me, but I feel with a special diet and a few selective crosses a Very good bird can be expected. An I would be more than happy to sell some eggs. I have them on light and have quite a few on the ground already !!

Here are my favorites! Sorry for the bad quality...

Bear, the dominant roo, about six months old here:

Azula, another Kernan bird, (and the prettiest blue pullet ever) at the same time:

Bear's other sister Felicia at 3 months

Sev, head of the bantams and lavender project (in the spring--his face went black in a week):

I have another rooster, too, no good pictures of him. I got him from an old pheasant breeder, and he has eight spurs on each leg. I've never seen such a thing! It looks amazing. Usually they have three-per-leg, am I right?
