that's a normal andalusian blue bird, just a darker phase... and the WD40 tip works, I've used it a bunch, Sevin dust mixed in with Petrolium Jelly works good too.

those 3 chicks look like black, blue, and splash. 100% sure theres no dun in there, just hatched a good many of them this weekend, totally different in color. If I think of it, I have some more hatching this weekend, will try to get you a dun chick pic, but they are a smokey chocolate down bird as chicks. The only one in question would maybe be the palest one. It's the one I'm saying splash on, but have never seen a platinum chick that young so not 100% sure of what down color they have... Looks mighty splash ish though so far.
Mine finally got going a bit. Still kinda slow, getting a good bit off the dun project, which actually just got changed to a bb red project. The blue black pen is giving me about 1-2 eggs a day right now. Not much but it's better than nothing...
