Are you sure that's really a dark blue? A black bird with excellent lacing genes should look just like that... Whatever it is, it's awesome!!!

On these, I am sure. You can see a hint of blue in some of the wing feathers as well

yep you can see the dull wings, tell tale blue marker. I have d'anvers in blue that are just that dark too. Everybody swears they are black til you notice the dull wings

Just came back from the Sussex County poultry show and i won Champion AOSB Jr Reserve AOSB Jr. Champion AOCCL Jr. and champion Jr. LF!!! Also my Bantam sumatra hen won RV beating out 6 of Tom Kernans Sumatras!!!!!!(even though my lines are from him)
