when i was at the feed store buying new feed(i give my chickens Two varieties of feed like crumbles to lay mash(I think that how you spell it) now me and my dad though it time to add another type of feed, which was crack corn) and i saw An adult chicken for sale (whoa something I don’t see in day at the feed store) which the guy who work their said it was a Sumatras(I don’t know if it was a boy or girl that time. I didn’t ask nor my dad, well not sure about my dad, he was heir earlier then he told me and then I went their and saw it too. If he did ask he probably would have forgot it now lol) and I would like to know if their quite birds an do they go broody or anything. when I first look at that chicken I wasn’t interest in buying it but as I rethink about it I admire it beauty.

Hi, I have a pair and they are BEUTIFUL! I love them, I didn't raise mine but my Roo- Eddie will come to me and jump up to get the bread out of my hand. He is the first one to come running when he sees me. I will admit the bread has everything to do with it but he tamed up nicely. My hen is standoffish.

They are very quiet. They talk in little cooing and I have never heard Eddie crow. They are still a little young but they should be show their muture sides.

I hope that chicken still their at the feed. I would buy it(I hope it a hen. If it a boy then I don’t know if I should get another rooster since I live in a town in these suburb homes.I am dieing to move. I really don’t like it here but house are nice in all i just dont like living close to Neighbors.)
