What a contest!

We had about 50 wonderful coop page submissions, and as many of you know (especially the ones that tried to vote for your favorites) determining the “best” coop pages was no easy task.

In the end, we knew we had to do the hard task of picking some winners, but we want to be VERY clear that: We are thankful to EVERYONE for their coop submissions. Your wonderful work will be admired by hundreds of thousands of chicken owners all over the world, and while we technically can only choose a few contest winners, know that each of you that shared your coop with us are wonderful members!

Okay, so who won? Well, here they are (in alpha order).

Each of these FOUR members will be PM’d information regarding their $20 BYC Store Gift Certificate

…but wait, there’s more!!!

There were also FOUR more coops that were really close in the running, so to honor their great work we’re offering each of them a certificate for a free “Chillin With My Peeps” t-shirt. (again in alpha order)

These members will also get a PM with information on how to receive their prize.

…but wait, if you read this post in the next 1,000,000 minutes you’ll receive a special bonus:

To celebrate the amazing contributions of everyone who participated (creating pages and voting) we’ve made some improvements to the way the coop pages are laid out and organized (much is behind the scenes). First you’ll notice the coop pages are laid out a bit cleaner, and later there will be another really cool feature we'll hopefully be adding soon... but I don't want to take all the thunder away from this announcement.

We’ve already started a new coop page contest at the link below. If you haven’t already done so, please submit your coop so we can add it to the site!

those are very nice coops

well done

but i recon this is so unfair for the un-handy

alot of the people seems like they have carpentry skills or at least building skills

people like me would never win this
lol

All the winners should have their coupon codes in their PM box.

If you n eed help, let me know!!
CONGRATS to all the winners!

I didn't think I stood a chance after seeing the competition! And also thanks to BYC'ers for all the wonderful knowledge of what chickens need in a coop and run. All this I learned from the forum.
