I have made many diff kinds of incubators, most requiring a 15w bulb (small incubators) but they seemed too warm for this time of year, I am using a 7.5 W night light laid on foil in this very small cooler. Then about 3'' above the night light I have form fitting wire with card board on top and a small cloth sheet over the card board. I also have a very small water cup with warm water and a penny (before 1982) in cup. Air holes on the bottom of incubator, and also on the top. (The cooler air draws in the bottom because of the heat draws it in, and flows out the top after the heat rises, like a natural fan) The glass is adjusted also so it gives a bit of air, and so there is no water build up. Temp has been staying at 100. I did put incubator inside a red cloth basket to keep temp stable.

13 eggs. 12 are fathered by LO, moms are marans and EE. One egg is fathered by a Cockoo maran, and the frizzle in my avatar. Day 2 on the 12, and day 1 on the last one mentioned.

I may just use a broody if she stays broody to hatch my eggs.
