Summer Quilt block swap - We use similar colors, but each pick a different block

Balefire,

What kind of ducks are they, my daughter came home from work the other day with 2 just like those pictured and said one of her coworkers had given them to her kids for easter and did not want them anymore. How sad, I will gladly introduce them to my flock.

Ladies,

I pulled out my fabric the other day and have it ready to start putting them together. I am using up my batik scraps so they will not all be the same color. Happy sewing!

I have no idea what kind of ducks that are...........I guess the dad is a Pekin X Runner and the mom.......*cough*. I got her last September, because someone gave the duckling to his girlfried as a housepet........................how that work we know. A excoworker called me, because the guy told her, he will bring it to a lake...........this little girl was around 4 week........The drake, I found @ an auction.

That's the mom

And that is the dad

Well hello every one. Just wanted to check in and let you know I have all my pieces cut out and I'll be working on them this week. I was going to change the block but since I took all the time to cut them out I'm going to try and make them.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL YOU MOMS OUT THERE.

Those duckies look very Ancona-esque (the ducklings). The parents both look like Ancona mixes. Adorable.
I love my duckies. My Anconas are wonderful.

As if I weren't distracted enough, this little Easter castaway was brought to my door.
The former owners got him for Easter & when they moved they just left him in a room. He had water & food at one point, but they think it was days before the person who came to tour the apartment found him. Lucky for me, they brought him to my neighbor's horse rescue.

He is an English Angora, but his face was so matted I had to give him a trim.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms. I plan to spend most of my Mother's Day working on my blocks & then running through new tunes with my bandmate. The chores I did not finish yesterday I think I will have my boys finish today. Sounds fair, right?

Hi ladies.
I am not sure if we have a deadline, but if we do not, can we push it back toward the end of June?
Try as I might these blocks are not coming together for me with the technique they demonstrate, and I may have to switch stars - would you all mind if I switch stars? To say:

I'm going to have to track down some additional fabric this week, too.
Sorry to be a pain, they are just a little wonky, and I want them to look good.

So, I'm struggeling a little bit too and the end of June will give me a little more time. My time management is not like it should be, because there is every day something new coming up. Sorry fo my delay

I havn't started mine. School isn't out for another week, and I just lost my Dad, and as the last family member, and his only child, I'm crazy busy and not very happy right now. I can do anytime after mid june, like we talked about at first. I'd really prefer the last of June though, like some others.

I would be in love with an End of June deadline! 25th ish maybe? If not, I'll scramble, but this season just got so darned busy!
