eat him get some one to do it for you if it comes down to it!

my australorp roo is becoming aggressive toward humans. not to me, but to guests. he recently started pecking a 1 year old. the thing is, he does it when i am not around/looking. no one is willing to stand up to him. i have punished him multiple times and he knows who is boss, but he still attacks people behind my back. and recently Hats mated for the first time, with one of the australorp's hens. Hats was in the coop, and i was holding the gate closed so the Aussie couldn't come in and tear Hats off. now i am making sure not to let him get near Hats, for the worry of him attacking/hurting Hatsie Patsie. the hen Hats mated with i like to call "rooster's charm" because they all love her...
in need of help asap,
~Marie

and here is the australorp

thanks!

In my experience the Australorps cockerels get pretty aggressive around maturity, some grow out of it and others do not.
Out of 4 cockerels only 1 was respectful to my family (only one ever attacked me, he was the first to be killed LOL), the cockerels that was respectful is now my absolute favorite rooster. Honestly any rooster/cockerel that isn't show or breeding quality and is aggressive needs to be killed or given to someone that will.

Only once have I personally killed a rooster/cockerel, I am about to have to kill a hen believe it or not.
The rest I didn't have enough free time for, I have given about 17 roosters to a guy that eats them.
I don't have to think about it or spend my time killing them, I just put them in his pen and forget about them as he drives away.

lol i get my dad to do it i tell him about if they are being agressive and attacking me and he will take care of them! I had a RIR hen to been very mean attacked me killed chicks and lower ranking hens and was a feather plucker and egg eater well she was took care of and is now in my freezer!

thank you all for the advice and help! i am thinking about giving guests a squirt bottle with ACV in it to squirt him in the face with if he is bad. what do you guys think of that?
