well kinda, He is a 2nd generation red sex link meaning that when you cross a red sex link hen with a red sex link rooster the sex link gene doesn't Cary on to the next generation so the end result is that color

oh, i get it. I always have been confused with

california greys and barred rocks,
red sex link, red star, golden comets
easter eggers, arucanas, amerucanans, (i thought these three were the same kind at first lol)

then i am told amerucanas aren't even an official breed....i'm not sure if it is true or not though
