Okay peeps, I'm not gonna be here this weekend, so ya know. I'm going to Athens, GA for a Bible quizzing tournament, and I have some serious studying to do today. Me and sis leave at 6 tomorow morning, and mom isn't letting her bring her kindle, so I won't be able to get on

this evening, my hen's (her name is Blossom) foot was bleeding. i didn't see any swollen bumps, rashes, or anything like that. lust a little steady drip of blood. (her scales weren't badly damaged) it sprayed her foot with blue-kote. i am assuming she stepped on something sharp, as my chickens free range around my yard. tomorrow i am planning on keeping her inside the coop so it prevents any further damage on her foot. any ideas of what else i can do for fast foot recovery?

Has she been limping? I know you already put the Blue Kote on, but it might be worth it to just wipe the area she was bleeding with a dampened (using warm water) paper towel, and then reapplying the Blue Kote. Best of luck!

she isn't limping. she barely seems to notice it. thats what freaks me out the most. over here in cali, its getting late, so i put her to bed with the others. maybe i can clean her foot and reapply the blue-kote tomorrow.
