She rolled her eyes. "If I can deal with pain you should be able to deal with leaves," She muttered, quiet enough so that Snowbird couldn't hear.

Snowbird growled, in a dead silent forest, you could hear everything "You got something to say?"

They were in Shadowstars den

Windwalker watched him walk out from the leaders den. She looked back at the den and sighed. 'Shadowstar must be having a fit 'cause I lost...' she thought.

Though Darkstripe's good spirits were slightly crushed, they were back to normal as he hopped onto his perch beside Snowbird. He winked at Windwalker as he settled down.

Snowbird rolled her eyes.

She clicked one of her metal talons back. She looked at the den again. 'I'm sorry I failed, Shadowstar.' she thought, then fell into a dreamless sleep.

She awoke the next morning to the own rasping of her breath. She felt stronger today. But Windwalker prepared to be exiled today.

Snowbird left on the dawn patrol with Ivytail, Lizzardstripe and Sparrowpaw.

Darkstripe got up shortly after her and stretched on the branch, his muscles slightly stiff from the test yesterday. He jumped off the branch and glided down into the camp, calling for Crowfoot and Brackenpelt to join him on a hunting patrol.
