Windwalker looked at the ground. She neck feathers raised, but she forced them to lie flat again.

"I've decided to let you stay, for now. Keep in mind though, I will be watching."

She nodded. Adjusting her iron foot again she looked at Shadowstar again.

 

[HollyBird24]

"You will be hunting with Lizzardstripe today" He told her, gestured towards the black striped hen waiting by the camp exit.

 

[TechnoCat]

Windwalker walked over to her, her metal talons clicking.

 

[TechnoCat]

She fell into step behind Lizzardstripe, and for the first time, her iron foot was silent.

Lizzardstripe led her into the Dark Forest without speaking a word. Once they were a ways away from the camp, she turned and faced Windwalker. "The Dark Forest is silent, your prey will hear you coming long before you see them in the dark. You must rely on your other senses to survive here."

She nodded silently. (what do they hunt?)

"The prey here consists mostly of mice, voles, some small birds. There is no plant life besides the trees, and I wouldn't eat them." She looked Windwalker in the eyes "They are poisonous"

Windwalker returned her gaze cooly. "Cool. When do we get started?"
