Sunflower seeds

Is it OK to feed chickens sunflower seeds!?? I have a few chickens and they love them..

Yes it is ok but remember that they are a "treat".

Chickens are just like kids, if they get treats too often they will refuse to eat their nutritionally sound chicken feed. Treats should not amount to more than 10% of their diet.

I just now started feeding them Chicken feed. II didn't think it would hurt them feeding them popcorn. I am new to chickens. I did go get them chicken feed and they will eat a little at a time. Now afraid they'll starve. Will they eat it if that's all I give them from now on?? I keep fresh water is out for them every day and they love it. But not the feed...
