Sunny but cold fall day with the chickens

Yesterday was nice and sunny, a little cold but I decided to let the chickens out for a bit. I also took some pictures and wanted to share!

Very nice pics. My girls have been loving the cooler weather. They stay out all day and it is around 36 - 40 degrees when they go in for the night. They do go in and out of the coop during the day so they know where it is warm.

Yes they seem to not mind the cold until later in the day. They just love going out to forage. I have been giving them a little warm oatmeal if it gets too cold. They are spoiled!
