Love the pictures of the girls in the dappled sunlight under the tree. Very pretty! I can't believe your irises are blooming! Can you believe we had a dusting of snow yesterday morning? All the fruit trees are blooming and none of them got frozen, thank goodness.

We had a late cold night here, too. 32 degrees in Ga on April 30, even in the mtns at my altitude, is a bit much. My fruit trees and bushes were all blooming and I even have cherries and pears on the trees now. Last year none of the irises bloomed, not one. It was an awful bummer of a year. This year, everything is blooming and gorgeous and my Hawkeye isn't here. That really put a damper on it, as beautiful as it all is. I wanted him to eat blueberries and cherries warm from the sun this year.

Livvie has three little Hawkeye babies from Lexie, Amanda and Ivy under her, very precious little packages.

When the irises multiply enough so that I need to divide them, I'll be happy to send you some, Jordan. These are just blooming for the first time this year, although I planted them two years ago.

I love Livvie, too! She's actually being a very nice broody, believe it or not. She doesn't scream at me much at all, just sort of clucks and talks under her breath when I pat her little poufy head. I hope she actually manages to hatch these three Hawkeye babies and is a good mom.
