Well, the nearest tractor supply company is about an hour away. I'm only 13, and my parents aren't very supportive...so I really don't think they'll drive me there. Do you think the stuff I just bought will help?

I should be able order that, thanks for the offer though. Like I said if she doesn't show improvement by tomorrow, I'll make sure to ask my parents. Do I really have to squirt it down her throat? She's fine with me touching her head but opening her move will prove to be difficult, I don't want to hurt her.

The gel already comes in a syringe. The hard part is trying to figure out HOW MUCH she needs. I believe the ProBios can be given on a daily basis (it can be given to horses on a daily basis). The syringe is set up per body weight, but for large livestock.


When we wormed our chickens/ducks, we bought a cheap syringe of Ivermectin 1.87% (I don't like to use the cheap stuff on my horse as it never works). We had a eye dropper and the container leftover from some other things. We added a BB size drop of Ivermectin to 3 tablespoons water and shook it until it was well mixed. Then we gave 3 drops per chicken and 4 drops per duck.

So maybe using a BB sized or a little bit bigger size ProBios, give it to her either in her mealworms or you will have to place it on her tongue

Thanks guys, she ate a little so she is improving. If she needs those meds, which one do you suggest? I'd say she's just sluggish...and now that I'm looking...she has had diarreha for the past couple of days. What could that mean?

ProBios aren't a medicine, they're a supplement...

Does Sunny eat Yogurt by any chance?? Yogurt has Probiotics (what ProBios is) in it. It would probably be convenient for you to get her yogurt. The flavored kind has added sugars, though.

Diarrhea would equal a lot of water passing through. How is she drinking? Electrolytes should help her some with the diarrhea, along with the ProBios or the Yogurt.
