Sunnyside Inn intro

Hi new friends,
I just joined BYC and wanted to introduce myself. I'm married and we have 3 kids, 6 chickens, 2 horses, 2 dogs, and partial custody of a pet sheep (I rescued him and raised him and castrated him, he lives on my friends ranch with a small herd of pet sheep). My chickens are 14 weeks old. I have 2 RIR, 2 blue Silkies, and 2 EE. I love my birds so much!! I didn't mean to get them yet, but I work at Tractor Supply (I know, I know, trust me no one likes "chick days" at our store) and a customer injured a RIR chick. I took her home and doctored her up and...then chicken math happened.... and I had 6 beautiful chicks to care for. My "girls" lived in my garage until I finished there coop. Now they live in our backyard playhouse turned-coop. I board my horses (we live in a suburban area in northern Colorado) but I'm so glad my chicken girls are near me. I'm reasonably sure they are all hens, but would welcome opinions on their sex from anyone reading this I have no crowing going on, but they are still to young to lay so who knows(Well..probably some of you will know!!)

Oh my gosh! I love your coop and your birds. So beautiful. What's your favorite breed that you're keeping currently? Buff Orpingtons are my personal favorite but Easter Eggers are a close second. I've also wanted to keep Silkies.
