Sunroom remodel, wall opinions?

Well it was a very long day. Worked till the light and second box of washers was gone. I have a pile of finishing to do tomorrow. Just the fun little stuff though. Today I removed the wall and lined basically the entire thing with hardware cloth. Took forever as nothing is straight or square in that old shed.

What color egg do you think she lays?

Where did you'all get the clear corrugated plastic? All I've ever seen is green around here that I picked up on the side of the road after a storm. I'm thinking about different material to close in the 4th side of a new coop over hardware cloth in the winter, but I love the light in your coop.

Those are proving really nice to have. Not piles of fun to cut but it can be done. Home depot, Lowes, but check local building supply places, they beat the big stores prices at regular price for me.

That being said I just scored some smoke color ones from Lowes for $8 each.

Thanks :) The closest big box stores are an hour+ away, but I'll call a friend who's son works at a small local place.

I've been busy trimming things out to stop drafts. Installed seeming miles of hardware cloth. Built and moved some roosts. Added a new ramp.

It's still airy in there. Feathers weren't moving last night in cold gusty weather but i could feel my hair stirring a bit. Wrestling with ventilation vs drafts.

Check this pic of the brooder...

You see the roosts on top of it. No one sleeps up there currently. What if I add a dropped ceiling, possibly with cardboard for now, right above that window, with a one foot downward lip to partially enclose the whole thing into a less airy huddle box? Then lock the chicks out of the brooder they still insist on sleeping in(or worse, on the doors that leaves their toe tips uncovered) and shove them up there at night.

I have the 70 watt bulb on in there right now as they looked miserable at midnight when I checked them. I could move that above the brooder if it made sense. I have a hardware cloth cage made up for the heat lamp in case I ever want it to be used in the open coop, and a bracket so it can't swing around.

Where are the drafts coming from?
Was your stirring hair right next to birds on roost?
Better to plug drafts than add more 'ceiling'.
Just start tacking up cardboard to block them for now.
Maybe close the brooder doors...and turn the lamp off.
