His coloring is male, the size of his legs, and the beat red comb and size. Pullets combs don't get that red until closer to laying.
I seen other who sent me picture of their Amerecuana that look that color and are girls. All the one that look like sunshine ate big and have combs like that maybe they are all rooster?

I cant speak for anyone elses chickens but yours is 100% a cockerel. His feather coloring is only on males and look how much bigger his legs are than your other one.

True. Any idea when they start to crow I had read 7 weeks but nothing yet. Will be looking for a new home if its male. How do you introduce a new chick to the remaining pullet? How long can one pullet be alone if I need to remove sunshine?

He may start soon. I'm not sure about introducing other chicks. I wouldnt leave her long without another as chickens dont do well alone. That's why it's not a great idea to only get 2

May I ask why you think that?
Also, if u look closely at the 5th picture down at the tail feathers, they are not stiff, rounded and uniform, but arching downward and undefined. That is an indicator of a cockerel.

Here is a good YouTube link that explains how to tell the difference in chicks similar in age to yours.

We could only adopt 2 at a time but a friend hatch some chicks couple weeks old and I will get one when it's ready just worry to leave her alone if the sunshine starts to crow before the other is ready. Will definitely be buying more plullets when they are available.
