I secured mine down by screwing in the valley of the roofing, I bought the screws that have a neoprene washer to seal the water out, it's been on since March and has not leaked a drop I think the only way to use the top rib is if you buy the wavey piece of wood that fits under it, I think it's their way to sell you something to make them more money but I guess if you don't use them they probably won't cover any warranty issues.

Ok cool. How about the overlap areas. Did u fasten the valleys there too? How about sealing the overlap areas with silicone? I have a 10 degree taper in the room. Im thinking that shud be enough to alow the water to run down, hence no need for sealant

I didn't use any sealant and where 1 overlaps the other in the valley is where I screwed it down, screw it down in all the valleys except for the last one you need to put the next sheet down before you can do the last valley of the first sheet so it will go through both sheets.
