Super big red butts on Cornish x

I have 25 Cornish x and some have really large , red bottoms.. Is this typical of X's ?? This is my first time with them...

Red as in red feathers or red irritated skin on the butt? Their butts are sparse on feathers and they tend to get a lot of poo stuck on there and lay around a lot which makes fro a irritated bum. If it looks really red I would just clean the poo off if there, dry it and apply Vaseline or bag balm to soothe it. Mine had problems with this also. Hope that helps.
