Never thought I would need to explain lineage for EE's

I didn't want to use high quality show Leghorns... I got them for production.

BTW my Leghorns this week laid 21 egg from 3 pullets (3 eggs x 7 days) no break for any of them... production

Hi, I've been debating on trying these still... Did you ever find out what color egg your black roo came from?

No I don't know.... sorry.... I have had to do some rearranging in my pens. I needed some empty pens and since I am going to stop hatching so many of my Ameraucanas for my Lav Am project, I didn't really need three pens anymore.... and I had an EE roo that was a little too rough on the girls.....SOOOOOOO I moved the Black Am to the EE pen temporarily to improve my EE so I can have more with Beards and Muffs so all the Leghorns for this cross are now in 2 pens with just the Lavender American roos. If you want to wait just a couple of weeks they should all be from the Lavender roos.

The move may have been a good thing all the way around

I got an empty pen to put my Wheaten Ams in, going to improve my EE flock and Hatching Eggs.... AND since his egg color is up in the air.... All the Lavs and Leghorns are with my Shaffer Roos

I will put up a new ad in a couple of weeks. I am going to hatch these for myself or to sell locally. I just put a batch in lockdown today from the Black Am and the 2 Lavenders so I can't wait to see what they look like. This is my first batch from these roos. The others have all been from my former EE roo

I don't know what experiment. this is a very old ad. I have new ones up on the BYC BST Section and I do have some but probably a different combo of birds.
