Ok. Here's how it started. I had 1 broody hen sitting on eggs. Her sister decided about a week later that she wanted to sit on eggs, too. I didn't have too many to spare so I gave her one "pity egg" to keep her happy until I could get some EE eggs shipped.
So, Friday she got eggs. Saturday morning, my pen was flooded. Eggs ok, but she was cold & wet & apparently "over the whole broody thing."
I grabbed the eggs & stuck them in the incubator. On Sunday I figured it would be silly to run it half full, so I put a few more in.
I'm looking at a hatch date of April 20/21.
