Super Cute Story - Wanted to Share Random Act of Kindness

Chickens have such kind hearts when they love their coop-mates! One of my girls had a super long piece of grass hay sticking out of her beak, and was trying desperately to get it out. Trying with her foot, trying to rub her beak on the ground, turning her head this way and that. I was about to go grab it out of her mouth when another chicken ran over and grabbed the piece of offending hay, and pulled and pulled until the whole thing was out. It was long too. I just love my chickens.

Mine do that all the time but there is no kindness in it. just wanting the biggest piece of grass that someone else has for themselves.
