Super Easy Crock Pot Apple Butter

Here's what it says online as a replacement:

Ingredient Substitutions

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon plus 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg plus 1/8 teaspoon cardamom

I personally leave out the cloves in Any way shape or form of Any recipe. My family hates the way cloves make things taste. & for my own personal replacement for 'apple pie spice' I used in this recipe just the 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Plus the 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (leaving out the cardamom)..... & it tastes WONDERFUL :-)

ok, found it on page 3, ten minutes

Darn it. Now I have to make apple butter. Can I freeze it in big tubs, thaw it and actually put it in jars with the water bath later?

I've been turning my berries to juice, then freezing the juice so I can make jars of jelly in the fall....

Did anyone find the egg bread recipe? I searched, but couldn't find it. Off to try searching for "Colby's egg bread" and see if I turn anything up.
