I just got this e-mail from my financial counselor at school:

Your Pell Grant was certified. The disbursement date is scheduled for xxxxxxx. The check should be in the mail in roughly seven days from the disbursement date. Hope all is well and keep up the good work.

I''m so flipping excited, I can't see straight! I've been so totally broke the past few months, this will help out sooooooooooooo much!!

I had a pell grant when I went to nursing school...I don't think I paid much of anything! Congrats!

My son is taking online classes through DeVry for Computer Science. Same problem. We got a $15,000 invoice in the mail for last quarter.

Wow!! My loans cover my school fees so far, so I haven't had to pay any of it yet. Obviously I'll have to pay all of it eventually, but I can wait till I get a good job
