Super Low Egg Production - What’s Wrong??

Thank you! Is there such a thing as feeding TOO many vitamins? I put vitamins in their water and their feed also.
Probably not a good thing. Mine all of a sudden think they should have bananas for a treat when I came home from the store, they don't usually steal things they will knock on the door if they haven't gotten their small meal worm ration for the day but do eat all their feed , why I went ahead and gave them some vitamins

Coop is 96 square feet with a 192 square foot run. However, they’re let out during the day to a much larger fenced in area, so they’re not confined to the run for long at all. It’s circular in shape so hard to tell how big it is but I’ll attach a picture that shows most of it. If I had to guess I’d say 25x40 yards

Sooo 36 birds in an 8x8 coop.
Kind of tight as that is about 12 more then recommended.
The 192 square foot run can handle 19 at the recommended space per bird.

I do see a nice big area they can use. That is great.....if they have most of every day they can use it.

I think a large part of the issue is adding birds in a confined space and then getting stressed.

And yes just as humans can overdose on certain vitamins so can birds.

I’ll have to check and see the types of vitamins both provide and maybe cut one out. I feel like they get the water vitamins more equally than the vitamins I put in their feed.

Another thing with this heat and not knowing where you are, Mine have been going through a lot more water, they won't drink warm water, so you either have to change it more often or cheat and add some ice cubes, I refill their waters more frequently as gives me a good reason to watch their antics and take a break as sometimes I forget I have limitations lol

Coop is 12x8 which is 96 sq feet. Lots of perching area and spaces for them to perch alone as well away from others if they want. 7 nesting boxes but they probably only use 4 MAYBE 5.
I know the run is small for the amount of birds I have but that’s why they’re out every day for 90% of daylight hours in the fenced in area.

We’re in southeast Pennsylvania and it’s been high 80s/90s for the last month or month and a half. They seem to drink warm water but I do refresh it often. They definitely prefer the colder water though! Maybe I’ll freeze some water bottles and rotate them out to keep the water a bit colder.

My bad. I got the dimension wrong BUT 96 square feet is still recommended to house 24 birds.

If the nests, feed, water and anything else are in the coop the room those take up should be subtracted too.

Not judging...just stating what can affect production.
