OHM, that's in Pembroke, the next town over from me! I'll bet those chickens came from Hanson Grain, same place I bought mine - maybe I'll get one of those huge eggs!

I have an egg in the refridge right now that is 2.014" in diameter and 2.643" tall, so it is pretty much the same size as the one in the newspaper story.

I'll try to get some pictures of it later, providing I don't drop it first.

We've had 3 triple-yolkers so far. I know the eggs are as long, but not sure if circumference was as great, must measure next time! RIR crosses...golden comets.

These eggs are from my alpha girl, Tibet, and one might be from her huge sidekick, Golda. When hubby cracked his eggs in the frying pan one morning he had a triple and a double. Nifty!

My second girl started to lay the day before yesterday, and hers are so small, I cant imagine one that size lol. I was hoping to get a double yolker just once. I wonder how common it is to have big eggs like that.
