Could she be a bantam throw back from someone's project to get a different chicken?

No, it was only silkies. The breeder just was very inexperienced and didn’t take the time to properly research im assuming, so she did lots wrong and it caused them permanent and fatal issues.

Aww, I'm sorry... in my experience, they usually catch up. My 3wk old Sex Links were the same size as my 3 day old chicks for a while... they've finally caught up though and are doing well!
