So my ducks sometimes have this dark watery super stinky poo. It smells horrible. Do any of your guys ducks do this too? I’m not sure what causes it but it stinks... bad lol! I have 2 ducks in my room because one has bald spot with no feathers but it’s getting better and the other is that ducks friend and they still have fuzz. But I hate when they have the super smelly poo because the smell almost never goes away it seems like!! Lmaoo! Thanks

Welcome to BYC! Can you give us a run down on what you are feeding including any snacks they get too? Feed can cause stinky poo and meal worms are yummy but can cause stinky poo.

This was from some years back but might help to understand duck poo better.

They eat crumbles still (1 month and a half) we are taking them off soon though. They don’t get much treats but they get peas atleast once a week. I’ll check the feed in a bit but it starts with an H and it’s in a brown paper bag. We add a little nutritional yeast too. It doesn’t happy all the time but every once In awhile

  • Are the crumbles duck specific, or all flock? If they are just chicken crumbles you should probably switch to a duck or all flock feed.
its duck crumbles or waterfowl crumbles and it’s not medicated!
