I've read several threads of people hatching chicks from store bought eggs that were labelled organic/free range... etc... They were having a lot of fun trying it even though they usually only got 1 or 2 chicks for every dozen eggs. So long as the eggs don't say they are from caged birds there's a slim chance. Also know lots of people who refrigerate even their hatching eggs and only notice a small drop in hatching percentages. It's far from impossible.
