Purchased 4 un-sexed (Easter egger) chicks from Tractor Supply several months ago. I’ve never owned any EEs before so all I have to go on is google, but these guys look nothing like the pictures I see online. What do you think? Sadly 3 of the four are Roos. In the pics you’ll see one of them (the one I plan to keep, white and black specked, as are the other 2) and the 1 golden pullet. Do you think they are in fact Easter Eggers or were they mislabeled?

Easter eggers are mixed breeds so they can look very different, depending on what mixes went into them. TSC is notorious for mixing up chicks, though, so who knows? When your pullets lays, you may know, if she lays blue or green. EEs can also lay brown or cream, too so no guarantees. Handsome cockerel BTW.

I think they are Calico Princesses, a sex linked variety put out by one of the hatcheries. The female should lay a lot of brown eggs.
I searched up some photos and I think it could definitely be these!!! Easter eggers can look like ANYTHING and their egg can look like ANYTHING too 🤪. Do you have any photos of the other cockerels?

Ees are suppose to have a blue egged parent. But people be using that term for literally any mixes these days. Just to make a sale.

I once emailed Hoovers to ask if they had a picture of their Calico Princess males. This was their reply:

I also found a post with a picture: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/the-tiny-serama-a-hatching-adventure.1614220/post-27932734

I wouldn't doubt the cockerel was one, either, though, and they've created more of a red sex-link cross or something. @JedJackson would definitely be the guy to defer to.

ETA: The cockerel chick in the catalog look pretty white to me.
